You'll train at our brand new Welding and Fabrication Technical Training Centre at the Port of Blyth, which is a dedicated facility with state-of-the-art equipment to support skills development in the growing sectors of advanced manufacturing, welding and fabrication.

Study at our dedicated training centre for construction in Seghill and gain skills for a career in various building trades or self employment.

Part-time courses include the following trades: Plastering and Painting & Decorating. 

English and maths

We'll support you to start at the right level for you, to ensure that you choose the level that suits you based on your abilities and prior attainment in English or maths. 

 

Study from Entry Level 3 to Level 2 in English and maths, and GCSE maths.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

If English isn’t your first language, our ESOL courses will help you to improve your speaking, reading, writing, listening, grammar and punctuation.

Learning English will help you in all aspects of life, from boosting confidence to improving social skills and gaining employment.

Painting & Decorating

Enrol now on our 15-week Painting & Decorating evening classes. This practical, hands‑on evening course introduces adult learners to the core skills of painting and decorating.

It is ideal for beginners looking to improve their home‑decorating abilities or those considering progression into further training or trade work.​
