About the event
This FREE Advanced Manufacturing Engineering taster session is running on Saturday 9th May 2026, 10am-1pm, at the new Energy Central Learning Hub at Port of Blyth.
It is ideal for young people who are completing their GCSEs this school year and are looking for an exciting career path with real job prospects.
If becoming an engineer in the renewables sector is something you want to explore when you leave school, or if you've recently left school and you're looking for a new direction, come and find out more from our friendly and experienced team of lecturers!
Parent/Carer attendance:It is really helpful if parents/carers can also attend the event with their young person as we give a lot of information about the purpose of the course, how the course is run and expectations.
