About the event

This FREE renewables engineering taster session is running on Saturday 25th May 2024, 10am-1pm, at our welding and fabrication training centre in Port of Blyth (Quay Road, Blyth NE24 3PB) - next door to the new Energy Central Campus.

It is ideal for young people aged 15 years and over who are considering what's next when they leave school.

Their parents/carers are also welcome to join us to explore courses and careers across the engineering and renewables industries.

If becoming an engineer in the renewables sector is something you want to explore when you leave school, or if you've recently left school and you're looking for a new direction, come and find out more from our team of lecturers!

Young people can attend with or without their parents. If parents do want to stay, they can enjoy a free cuppa and ask our experienced team of lecturers about our school leaver courses and future career opportunities.

Spaces are limited, secure yours now by emailing learn@northumberland.gov.uk
