FREE construction taster session for young people (aged 15 years+) and their parents/carers at our construction campus in Seghill on Sat 22nd April. This is your chance to try out electrical and interior systems (plastering) trades, as well as finding out more about construction and welding.

About the event
This FREE construction taster session is running on Saturday 22nd April 2023, 10am-1pm, at our construction campus in Seghill (Pitt Lane, Front Street, Seghill NE23 7EB).
It is ideal for young people aged 15 years and over who are considering what's next when they leave school.
Their parents/carers are also welcome to join us at our construction campus in Seghill (Pitt Lane, Front Street, Seghill NE23 7EB) to explore courses and careers across the construction industry.
If becoming an electrician, plasterer or working in general construction are options when you leave school, or if you've recently left school and you're looking for a new direction, come and give a construction trade a go for free!
Young people can attend with or without their parents. If parents do want to stay, they can enjoy a free cuppa and ask our experienced team of lecturers about our school leaver courses and future career opportunities.
